Patients who require Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) health care services within the North Yorkshire and York geographical areas are seen at the Friarage Hospital at Northallerton. This service is provided by consultants and doctors who travel from Darlington Memorial and York hospitals. As a result of the merger between The Friarage and James Cook University Hospitals and them both becoming one Trust, as from the 28th July 2008 all patients who need to access the ENT services at the Friarage Hospital will be seen by consultants and doctors from James Cook University Hospital at Middlesbrough. Patient care will continue to be of a high standard as it has been previously. Clinics
Clinics are held at The James Cook University Hospital Middlesbrough, Friarage Hospital Northallerton, University Hospital of North Tees, University Hospital of Hartlepool, Caroline Street Child Health Centre, Hartlepool, Peterlee Community Centre, and Redcar Health Centre. Specialised clinics are also held at Hunter's Moor Newcastle, Sunderland General Hospital, and at Penrith.
