Nursing older people
Working as a team to make a real difference
It’s an exciting time to join us! Our new staffing model centres on working as a multi-disciplinary team to ensure maximum patient outcomes and high quality care for all our patients.
This team includes consultants, senior nurses, staff nurses, therapists, healthcare assistants, pharmacy technicians, a family liaison practitioner and a practice development facilitator.
We are looking for passionate qualified staff to provide exceptional standards of care to our older people; patients from our own community with their own history who have contributed to society and now, in their later years, deserve the best possible care.
Caring for older people is a rewarding and challenging career where you have a real chance to make a difference.
Patients on the ward have one or more long or short-term physical health conditions. This could include heart disease, injuries from an accident, pneumonia, arthritis, diabetes or end of life care.
As a newly developed team, we will be open to your new ideas to improve efficiency and service delivery while empowering you to develop a strong sense of ownership for clinical service delivery and team development.
Working with us will help you to develop a set of complex nursing skills which will be transferable throughout your nursing career.
