Help at hand for frustrating eye condition

SOUTH Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is holding a special event to help patients with a frustrating eye condition. The South Tees Macular Degeneration Awareness Day is aimed at patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and will have a particular focus on treatment options and support systems that can help people utilise their eyesight to the maximum potential. The awareness event takes place on Friday 27 April 2018 in the South Tees Institute for Learning, Research and Innovation between 1pm and 4pm.

The NHS is turning 70 this year and what better way to celebrate one of the nation’s most loved institutions than with a cup of tea. But this will be more than just a regular brew. Trust wins Healthcare Project of the Year Award

A partnership between industry and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded the prestigious Bionow Healthcare Project of the Year Award for the development and delivery of a clinical research study examining the management of pre-operative oedema in ankle fracture patients.
