Have you or any of your relatives had outstanding hospital care in the last year?
If so, why not nominate a nurse or midwife for a Nightingale Award?
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust would like to hear from you as they look for their annual Nightingale Award winners for 2019.
Now in their 15th year, the awards celebrate nurses and midwives who have demonstrated that they have gone the extra mile to improve the patient experience and ensure an outstanding level of care.
Kay Branch, midwife consultant at South Tees, who is coordinating this year’s awards, said “Nurses and midwives can make a dramatic difference to the patient journey and their experience through the healthcare system – and these awards are the public’s chance to formally recognise those trust staff that did just that. You can nominate a single member of staff or a whole team.”
Nominations close on Thursday 28 February 2019.
If you would prefer to complete a written entry form, please request a copy from Val Fothergill on 01642 854344. Written entries should be sent to Val at The Murray Building, The James Cook University Hospital, Marton Road, Middlesbrough, TS4 3BW.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony held around the time of Florence Nightingale’s birthday in May and all those patients and carers who have very kindly made nominations are invited to join this annual celebration.
