The Edinburgh Anaesthesia Festival (EAF) is the largest Anaesthesia meeting in Scotland. The three day programme includes a combination of national and international speakers delivering topical lectures on a wide variety of anaesthesia, intensive care and pain medicine related subjects.
The Royal College of Anaesthetists is celebrating 25 years since gaining its Royal Charter. As part of their celebrations they have chosen to support and sponsor this year’s Edinburgh Anaesthesia Festival.
Keynote speakers include:
- Dr Brian Cuthbertson – Chief of the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Professor at the University of Toronto
- Dr Brendan Carvalho – Chief of Obstetric Anesthesia and Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Stanford University, California.
- Dr Anders Perner – Senior Staff Specialist and Professor in Intensive Care at Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen and an honorary Professor of the George Institute in Sydney.
