Families are invited to enjoy a cricketing fun day to help raise funds for Trinity Holistic Centre.

Cricket day posterThe free event at Acklam Park Rugby and Cricket Club on Sunday 2 August is being sponsored by Carillion and plenty of entertainment is promised on and off the field!

With dragon dancing, a space hopper obstacle course, kids quick cricket, bouncy castle, face painting, birds of prey and a barbecue among the attractions there’s something for all the family.

So why not come along from 2pm to 5pm and cheer on the holistic centre and Carillion’s cricket teams as they go head to head in their charity challenge match? All players have stumped up £10 to play and it is hoped more donations will be collected on the day.

Trinity Holistic Centre provides support to patients and their families affected by cancer and other long term conditions at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It also provides some wellbeing services to staff, visitors and members of the public.

Heather McLean, the centre’s business manager said: “Thank you to the trust’s private sector partner Carillion for sponsoring this event and making it possible.

“It will be a fantastic day as there’s so much planned so why not bring the whole family along and make a day of it?”

Entry is free but families must register in advance by calling the centre on 01642 854839 or going to carillioncricketfunforthc.eventbrite.co.uk
