Come along and join us at our final Christmas coffee morning, do a bit of festive shopping and help boost the Friarage MRI Scanner Appeal at the same time.
South Tees Hospitals Charity team will be in Northallerton Town Hall on Thursday 1 December from 9am to 1.30pm.
Paul Watkins, South Tees Charity’s head of fundraising, said: “Our coffee mornings are a great way of supporting the scanner appeal, meeting our appeals team and enjoying some time out to relax.
“Everyone enjoys them and it also gives us the opportunity to chat to local people and keep them up to date on how the appeal is going.”
Construction work has now begun in the former special care baby unit at the Friarage Hospital where the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment, which is used to detect a wide range of conditions in almost any part of the body, will be based.
The scheme is expected to take around six months to complete although fundraising will continue until the equipment is delivered.
The MRI Scanner Appeal is South Tees Hospitals Charity’s first major fundraising campaign – in partnership with the Friends of the Friarage.
