If the Great British Bake Off has inspired you to dig out your apron and dust off your recipe books then South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a challenge for you!
The Great Trust Bake Off is being organised at the Trinity Holistic Centre to raise funds for the trust’s breast cancer related charities as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Creations should be displayed on the correct table at the Trinity Holistic Centre (based at The James Cook University Hospital) by 11am on Monday 20 October ready for judging at 11.10am with a donation of £1 per entry.
Cakes can then be collected at 12 noon for you to share with your colleagues, friends and family in return for donations to the trust’s breast cancer related charities which support research, breast cancer care nurses and the Trinity Holistic Centre.
Trinity Holistic Centre business manager Heather McLean is urging everyone to get involved: “Whether you are attempting your first showstopper cake or perfecting an old family favourite we want to see as many local people as possible baking this weekend to help us raise funds and awareness for the trust’s breast cancer related charities.”
