Maisie’s Hope Christmas Ball

Posted on in Fundraising

A Christmas ball is being held in aid of the neonatal unit at The James Cook University Hospital.

Maisie’s Hope Christmas Ball promises to be a fabulous black tie evening with a champagne reception, three course meal and live entertainment from Chris Dakers – the North East’s voice of swing and soul.

The event takes place at Gisborough Hall on 6 December from 7pm and all funds raised will go towards equipment that will enhance the care given to sick and premature babies.

Tickets have now sold out but raffle prizes would be gratefully received. Call Caroline Buckley 07810 376799 for details.

The fundraiser has been organised by Leanne and Graham Nellis who set up Maisie’s Hope in memory of their daughter Maisie Hope Nellis.

Maisie only lived for four days but her legacy lives on as Leanne and Graham have already raised thousands of pounds in her name to thank the “dedicated, caring and amazing team of doctors and nurses” who looked after Maisie on the neonatal unit at James Cook.
