Rick’s five tri challenge for neonatal

Rick Purcell, a 33 year old recruitment manager from Manchester is raising money for the neonatal unit at The James Cook University Hospital to thank them for saving his cousin’s daughter – Gracie’s life and for nursing her back to full health.

He is aiming to raise £5,000 for the unit and to encourage people to support him, he has set himself the amazing challenge of completing a triathlon a month from May to September.

Rick complete his first event successfully  in May  – Wilmslow triathlon – raising  £463  so far.    He has  still to undertake  Buxton triathlon, Llandudno triathlon, Manchester to Blackpool bike ride, Erias Standard triathlon and finally, Scotland coast to coast in September to complete his  mammoth challenge.
