Three peaks, three charities, 24 hours…

Eight workmates are set to swap their Stockton office for the summits of the biggest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales.

Interserve’s Tony Bellamy, Paul Harrison, Lee Middleton, Tony Porter, Mark Bennison, Robert Thompson, Andrew Buckley and Phil Middleton are pulling on their walking boots to take on the challenge of Scarfell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon – all within 24 hours.

Together they hope to complete the Three Peaks Challenge on Friday 12 June and raise £5,000 to split between their three chosen charities:

  • The Neuro Surgical Research Fund at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough which supports research and development of treatments for patients affected by neurological conditions (diseases of the brain, the spine and the nerves that connect them)
  • The Riding Centre for Special People
  • The Interserve Employee Foundation

Site manager Tony Bellamy said: “Please dig deep into your pockets and support us in our quest to complete this challenge. It’s all for a very good cause.”
