A Teesside pub is organising a family fun weekend over the bank holiday to raise funds for the children’s ward at The James Cook University Hospital.

Coulby FarmThe Coulby Farm Pub has pulled out all the stops to ensure there is something for everyone and attractions include:

  • Friday 23 August – Robbie Williams tribute night – £10 per ticket to include pie and peas, arrival drink and a donation from every ticket to the children’s ward
  • Saturday 24 August – beach party
  • Sunday 25 August – fun day – Live music and bands, bouncy castle, bowling alley, climbing wall, games and stalls, face painting and lots more
  • Sunday 25th August – fun day – From 12 noon plus Prince and Princess pamper party, 5pm to 7pm

It is hoped the funds raised will be used to refurbish the parent’s room on ward 22 at James Cook. The revamp would include providing a fridge, microwave and hot water boiler for parents to use while their children are on the ward.

Jenny Whittaker, assistant manager at The Coulby Farm Pub said: “We decided to support the children’s ward at James Cook as the pub ethos is all about family.

“We are hoping to raise as much as possible over the weekend and have lots of different events planned so why not come along and join in the fun?” For further information and tickets contact contact Jenny Whittaker on 01642 594140.

Tickets will be available on the night for the Robbie Williams tribute, but preferably should be purchased in advance so catering can be arranged.
