A special survivorship event on Tuesday 25 March 2014 at the at Trinity Holistic Centre, at James Cook from 10am to 2pm will bring cancer patients together to meet, share, learn and get more out of life.

Survivorship day

Most of us know someone whose life has been affected by cancer. Patients, carers, family members and friends are invited to drop in to the market place event organised by South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key health care professionals will talk about lifestyle issues, exercise, getting back to work, finances etc. People are encouraged to come along, ask questions and see what resources are available.

Complementary therapy taster sessions will also be available. It is an excellent opportunity for patients and carers to help shape the future delivery of cancer services. Health care professionals who wish to find out more about resources to help patients move forward with their lives are welcome to drop in.

Anyone interested should come along on the day – there is no need to book a place. Free car parking and refreshments will be available. For further information please telephone the Macmillan information and support centre on 01642 855674.
