Trust to host first northern laparoscopic and robotic video conference

.The recently-opened South Tees Institute of Learning, Research and Innovation (LRI) is to host the first northern video symposium for those interested in laparoscopic and robotic gastrointestinal (GI) surgery.

da Vinci robotThe event, to be held on Friday (27 November), will be hosted by South Tees GI surgeons Mr YKS Viswanath and Mr Anil Reddy and among those present will be the internationally-acclaimed laparoscopic surgeon Prof. C Palanivelu.

It will be a lively day of discussions around topics such as: video laparoscopic gastrectomy; video laparoscopic mini gastric bypass and video robotic resection work.

Over 70 places have been taken for the symposium by those working regionally and nationally in this field, and there are a few places left.
