South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is set to host two nursing recruitment open days.
Whether you’re a registered nurse, a third year student or you are thinking about returning to the profession, these events are a fantastic opportunity to see what your local hospitals have to offer.
Potential candidates can have a look around clinical areas and chat to staff from both The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.
The open days are being held at:
- The Friarage – Friday 31 March, 9.30am to 12 noon, in the Hub (Drop-in event)
- James Cook – Saturday 8 April, 10am to 12 noon, in the South Tees Learning, Research and Innovation Institute (Registration required)
As well as picking up information about nursing roles and vacancies, there will also be advice available on completing application forms and interview preparation skills.
“We are always looking to recruit more nurses, they’re a crucial part of our healthcare team and our biggest staff group,” said Gill Hunt, Director of Nursing for the trust.
“As one of the biggest employers in the region we have some fantastic opportunities available. So why not come along and talk to us about them? If you are a qualified nurse you could even be offered an interview on the day!”
