Currently across this vast area, over 1,000 nurses work daily in community nursing, school nursing, health visiting, physiotherapy, occupational therapy as well as ward-based nursing in the seven community and primary care hospitals across the patch. The event will illustrate the work being done and the job opportunities currently available.

There will be the opportunity also for enquirers to chat with current staff and get a feel for what it is like to work in a particular community service.

Divisional manager Mandy Headland said: “This is a very exciting time to be working within our community based services.  We hope to see healthcare professionals from all disciplines on the day to share the developments planned and inform on current vacancies.”
