Talk for cancer patients

Posted on in Support groups

Anyone who has been affected by breast cancer is invited to a talk on lymphoedema at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.

Lymphoedema is a chronic condition that causes swelling in the body’s tissue, usually in the arms or legs. It can develop as a side effect of cancer treatment.

The talk will take place at the next meeting of Breast Cancer Support Northallerton in the hospital’s Scott Suite on Wednesday 17 April between 7pm and 9pm.

New members are welcome to come along for a coffee and a chat and can bring along a friend or relative.

For further information contact Val Wilson on 01609 773964 or specialist nurses Judith Curtis and Louise Sadler at the Friarage Hospital on 01609 764622.
