Craig takes up the gauntlet for tiny tots

NTREPID Craig Robinson, 39 from Boldon is really pushing himself to the limit to help tiny poorly and premature babies and their families. Craig, a PE teacher at Thorp Academy in Gateshead is braving a number of challenges to raise money for the neonatal unit at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough which cared for his son Harry, who was born prematurely at 10 weeks and two days in 2008.

Historical tour for support group

The next meeting of the Friarage Hospital’s breast cancer support group will feature a guided tour of Northallerton by local historian Jennie Allison. Any member who wishes to attend should meet at All Saints Parish Church on Wednesday 15 July at 7pm.

Family gardening fun day

Families are invited to join in a range of garden-based activities at the first of a series of fun open days at Trinity Holistic Centre. The centre, based at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, will open its doors to all local families on Saturday 11 July from 12noon to 2pm.

Breast cancer support group AGM

The breast cancer support group at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton, is holding its annual general meeting on Wednesday 20 May. New members are welcome to attend the meeting which will take place in the hospital’s Scott Suite between 7pm and 9pm.
