Redcar mum Linsey Robinson is pulling on her running shoes for the IVF team at The James Cook University Hospital because without them her son Harvey would not be here. Linsey, 31, is set to take on the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 29 May to help support others who are undergoing IVF treatment at the Middlesbrough unit.

Thanks to the staff’s phenomenal fundraising efforts they raised over £6,000 for the ward which looks after cancer patients, well above their original ambitious target of £5,000.
The South Cleveland Heart Fund has reached its £1m target for the upgrade of a MRI scanner, thanks to generous donations from the public. The £1m milestone was reached within 18 months, after a number of kind-hearted people rallied together to raise vital funds for the cause – with events ranging from race nights to a Bollywood extravaganza!
