The third in a series of drop-in events about the development of a long term, sustainable plan for the Friarage Hospital will be held in Richmond on Saturday (21 October).
Members of the public are welcome to call into the Town Hall in the Market Place any time between 1.30pm and 3.30pm to find out more about some of the key challenges facing the Friarage Hospital and share their views.
Recruitment difficulties are currently impacting on a number of service areas at our Northallerton hospital including critical care, overnight anaesthetic cover and accident and emergency.
The purpose of our drop-in events is to gather feedback and thoughts on how South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust can deliver safe and sustainable services in the long-term from our Friarage Hospital site, given our existing challenges. Around 120 people have already attended our first two engagement events in Northallerton and Hawes.
We would also like to discuss what other services might be developed at the Friarage Hospital to further improve the care we provide.
Details of the drop-in events and a background to the programme are listed below and further information is available on our dedicated website
Alternatively people can make their views known by filling in an online survey at www.friarage.nhs.uk (paper copies are available at the drop-in sessions).
