Further drop-in events about the development of a long term, sustainable plan for the Friarage Hospital will be held over the course of next week.
Members of the public are welcome to call into the Golden Fleece Hotel in Thirsk tomorrow (15 November) between 4pm and 6pm tomorrow to find out more about some of the key challenges facing the Friarage Hospital and share their views.
A further session will be held in Bedale Hall on Tuesday (21 November) from 6pm – 8pm this month.
Recruitment difficulties are currently impacting on a number of service areas at our Northallerton hospital including critical care, overnight anaesthetic cover and accident and emergency.
The purpose of our drop-in events is to gather feedback and thoughts on how South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust can deliver safe and sustainable services in the long-term from our Friarage Hospital site, given our existing challenges.
Details of the drop-in events and a background to the programme are listed below and further information is available on the Trust’s website . Alternatively people can make their views known by filling in an online survey (paper copies are available at the drop-in sessions).
