A number of drop-in events about the development of a long term, sustainable plan for the Friarage Hospital will be held next week, starting on Monday (6 November 2017) in Catterick Garrison.
Members of the public are welcome to call into the Leisure Centre any time between 6pm and 8pm to find out more about some of the key challenges facing the Friarage Hospital and share their views.
Monday’s session will be closely followed by a further two events in Stokesley Town Hall on Wednesday (9 November) from 4pm – 6pm and Northallerton Town Hall on Thursday (9 November) from 6pm to 8pm.
Recruitment difficulties are currently impacting on a number of service areas at our Northallerton hospital including critical care, overnight anaesthetic cover and accident and emergency.
The purpose of our drop-in events is to gather feedback and thoughts on how South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust can deliver safe and sustainable services in the long-term from our Friarage Hospital site, given our existing challenges.
Around 160 people have already attended previous engagement events in Northallerton, Hawes and Richmond.
We would also like to discuss what other services might be developed at the Friarage Hospital to further improve the care we provide.
Details of the drop-in events and a background to the programme are listed below and further information is available here.
Alternatively people can make their views known by filling in an online survey (paper copies are available at the drop-in sessions).
