SouthTees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting anyone with an interest in local health services to attend an open day at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
Visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about a range of topics including volunteering, service improvement, Health Promoting Hospitals, technological advances, infection control, South Tees Hospitals Charity and some of the challenges facing the organisation this year.
The ‘Continuing the journey’ event takes place on Tuesday 22 July 2014 in the hospital’s academic centre from 11am to 2pm.
As part of the day the trust’s Annual Members Meeting will be held at 12noon in the academic centre’s Ian Haslock lecture theatre, showcasing some of the trust’s achievements from the last year and providing an overview of its clinical and financial performance.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for people to come along and meet some of our staff and find out more about the wide range of services we provide,” said chairman Deborah Jenkins.
“The event is aimed at trust members but anyone can register for free at the event or online.”
