Sue, who has more than three decades of experience as a chief executive in the NHS, will take up her new role on 1 October 2019.
She said: “I am looking forward to joining the team. Having worked in the region before, I know very well how much the Trust’s services are valued by patients, families and carers.”
Sue has worked in the NHS for more than 30 years as chief executive in London, Cumbria, the North East and Liverpool.
She has led hospital and community trusts, with a particular focus on improving organisations and leading them through significant change.
