October strikes suspended – your appointment or surgery will be going aheadĀ

FIVE days of Junior Doctors strikes proposed for the beginning of October have now been suspended.

The strikes had been due to take place on October 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11.

But these, followed by proposed strikes in November and December, have now been suspended by the British Medical Association, (BMA) the union representing Junior Doctors.

Patients who have appointments or surgery scheduled for any of the above dates should attend as arranged.

In the event that any industrial action is rescheduled in the future, we will provide advice to patients here and via Twitter @SouthTees, The James Cook University Hospital and Friarage Facebook pages and our South Tees page.
