Member signing up at AGM

Company secretary Caroline Parnell said: “Membership is free and you don’t have to give any of your time unless you want to – it’s about showing your support for your local hospital and the health services in your community and, if you want to, giving us your views.”

As a member you can get access to NHS discounts, receive a free members’ newsletter, attend exclusive members’ events, contact your local governor with ideas or questions and vote in elections for the Council of Governors – or even stand for election yourself.

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust runs The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton and a range of community services in Hambleton and Richmondshire, Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland.

Anyone in the UK can sign up as a member online or call 01642 835616 to request a membership form from the foundation trust office.
