Safeguarding is everybody's business

The North Yorkshire and City of York safeguarding boards and community safety partnerships, of which our Trust is a partner organisation, are working together to host Safeguarding Week. The theme is ‘safeguarding is everybody’s business’.

The Trust’s safeguarding team

Safeguarding week aims to raise awareness of the different forms abuse can take and to look at complex issues like protecting young people from abuse online.

From 9 to 13 October 2017 information will be available and events will be held across North Yorkshire and York to offer advice and guidance on a range of issues such as staying safe online, cyber-bullying, grooming and safety in sport.
