At South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, all the work that we do to ensure high quality patient care is overseen by a council of elected governors and a board of directors.
The council of governors oversees a nomination committee and acts as a link between the trust and its members, as well as the wider public who are our service users and patients.
Various committees sit beneath the board of directors, including a remuneration committee, audit and risk committee and a quality assurance committee.
Directly delivering the care the trust provides, a senior leadership team and clinical policy group oversee the work of ten specialty areas, including neurosciences and spinal care services, women and children services and medicine and emergency care services.
