Batteries are free for South Tees audiology hearing aid users and can be collected at the following places:

Please bring your battery card or brown book when collecting batteries as you will not be given batteries without.

Batteries can be collected by relatives or friends if they show the patient’s battery card/brown book.

At the South Tees we issue different models of hearing aids, and therefore different batteries are needed depending on the model. Please make sure you know which batteries you need and receive the correct batteries from the issuing centres. We currently have three different sizes:

The magnet will only pick up the battery on one side, ensuring that you place the battery into the hearing aid correctly.
