Meet the Team
Our team is managed by the director of nutrition and dietetics, Linda Irons.
At The James Cook University Hospital there are 20 dietitians, a specialist nutrition nurse, and three dietetic assistants. We have specialists that work within paediatrics, renal, intensive care, neurology, weight management, diabetes, gastro-intestinal disease, stroke, spinal injuries, cancer care. The service is supported by two clerical staff.
At the Friarage Hospital there are seven dietitians, and a dietetic assistant. We have specialists that work within intensive care, paediatrics and diabetes, gastro-intestinal disease, cancer care, home tube feeding, learning disabilities and eating disorders. The service is supported by two clerical staff.
At Guisborough Primary Care Hospital there are 10 dietitians and two dietetic assistants. We have specialists that work within weight management, paediatrics, diabetes, and home tube feeding. The service is supported by 2 clerical staff.
