COVID-19 and my heart treatment
It’s often worrying having to come into hospital for heart treatment anytime, but we appreciate at the moment you might have extra worries and concerns at the moment.
However, we are still here for you so if you have any questions or concerns please ring any member of the team, this is particularly important if you feel like your symptoms are getting worse.

Coming in for TAVI
The nurse or secretary will phone you to confirm a date for your TAVI.
A few days before coming into hospital you will be asked to isolate at home and will need to have a COVID-19 swab taken.
Our team will give you all the details on how to do this over the phone.
If you need to attend a clinic appointment prior to coming into hospital, we will call you to let you know when this will be.
