What is mindfulness and is it for you?
Many people rush through life or feel overwhelmed with everything that is happening in their lives. Paying more attention to the present moment – to your own thoughts and feelings, and to the world around you – can improve your mental wellbeing. Some people call this awareness mindfulness.
The Trinity Holistic Centre offers open mindfulness taster sessions led by qualified and experienced practitioners. These sessions give you an opportunity to find out more, ask questions, get an introduction to mindfulness skills or an opportunity to practice if you are still new to mindfulness.
These free sessions run from 12.30pm to 1.30pm every Monday at Redcar and Cleveland Mind Cafe, 8 West Dyke Road, Redcar and from 1-2pm every Tuesday at the Trinity Holistic Centre, The James Cook University Hospital, TS4 3BW.
