The Trinity Holistic Centre aims to support the overall wellbeing of patients, their family members and staff through social events and activities which are fun and engaging.

We love to see our patients and visitors’ confidence and self esteem grow as their stress reduces, through taking part in art and craft activities, music sessions, fun cookery lessons, make-up masterclasses, socialising on guided health walks, gardening groups and a wide range of other projects, with an emphasis on relaxation.

 

IMG_4883Many of our wellbeing projects help with the physical effects of cancer and cancer treatments – but also promote good nutrition and exercise, good mental health and increased self esteem and confidence for all.

Meditation and mindfulness courses also equip patients, carers and staff with useful and enjoyable tools to calm anxieties, fears and stress – and have also been shown to help patients manage their own pain.

Support groups, wig, scarf and bra fittings, gardening and nutrition projects and family days are just some of the wellbeing services and activities offered by the Trinity Holistic Centre.

 Exercise and good nutrition promoted through our wellbeing projects are intended to help patients be as fit as possible after treatment including managing any longer term symptoms and side effects.
