1. Presentation and referral
A patient with a shoulder complaint may initially present to primary or community care. They should be triaged to the most appropriate professional (e.g., First Contact Practitioner - FCP) if available wthin the service.

2. Physiotherapy
This pathway is relevant following confirmed diagnosis of Frozen Shoulder.

3. Orthopaedic referral
A patient may be referred to secondary care for an orthopaedic review if there is no improvement with conservative management or at the discretion of clinician in primary care or MSK services as appropriate.

4. Daycase procedure, discharge and follow-up
Planning for a daycase procedure (MUA with glenohumeral steroid injection or ACR with MUA), discharge and follow-up.
