One leg stand

Relax and breathe and lift up one leg and see if you can keep it off the floor for a few seconds (Fig A).
- Build up the time to 20 seconds if you can.
- If you have any problems with balance, you should be by a support to keep you safe.
One leg dip to knee

Stand on one leg (Fig A), relax and breathe and bend your knee, hip and back to drop your hands towards your knees (Fig B). Return to standing, keeping your foot off the floor.

Standing on one leg (Fig A), relax and breathe and bend your knee, hip and back to drop your hands towards your foot (Figs B, C and D).
Return to standing, keeping your foot off the floor.
