Submit an urgent radiotherapy referral

Please complete for all patients that require urgent palliative radiotherapy including metastatic spinal cord compression (MSCC). All this information is required to make a timely management plan.  

After submitting a referral, please call the appropriate team (see contact details below), to inform the team that a referral has been done.

Referrals will not be automatically accepted. They will be reviewed, and the referrer will be contact by one of the teams at The James Cook University Hospital to arrange transport and guide co-ordination.

Step one: Complete the referral document

You will need to download and complete the external emergency radiotherapy request form.

Once done, email this to [email protected].
