The Clinical Ethics Advisory Group (CEAG) supports clinicians and teams by providing thoughtful, multidisciplinary discussion of the ethical issues that arise in patient care.
We are now recruiting new members – and we welcome applications from:
- Clinical staff – doctors, nurses, AHPs, midwives, clinical governance
professionals - Non-clinical staff – colleagues with an interest in ethics, patient
experience, safeguarding, pastoral or legal perspectives - Lay members – Individuals from the community who can bring
independent insight

What we’re looking for
- Enthusiasm for clinical ethics
- Reflective thinking and constructive communication
- Relevant experience or perspective (professional or lay)
- Willingness to engage in training and group discussions
- No specialist ethics qualifications required
