Staff Nurses

Redcar and Brotton Primary Care Hospitals

We are looking to recruit experienced or newly qualified nurses to join our friendly teams and positively contribute to continuing our high standards of patient care.

Zetland Ward is a 31 bedded community hospital and Tocketts Ward is 30 bedded Community Hospital providing care for patients with long term health needs who have also been admitted to hospital following an acute episode of illness.

Consultant Interventional Radiologist

The radiology service encompasses the General and Neuroradiology departments at James Cook as well as that at the Friarage. The combined imaging facilities consist of four 128 slice CT scanners, two 3T MRIs (one shared with Durham University) and two 1.5T scanners. Apart from the research scanner all have been replaced within the last year. There is also an on site PET-CT with a planned SPECT-CT, eight ultrasound rooms, four fluoroscopy rooms, a hybrid endovascular suite and dual planar Neuroradiology suite. There is Trust-wide second generation PACS with voice recognition and the option for home reporting is currently under development.
