We are sharing a precautionary update about a specific batch (GR174091) of Ramipril 10 mg capsules manufactured by Crescent Pharma.
Most patients will not be affected.
If you take Ramipril 10 mg, please check the batch number on the outer carton and, if it matches, check the capsules inside (10 mg are marked “R/10”, 5 mg are marked “R/5”).
If the correct 10 mg capsules are present, no action is needed and you should continue taking your medicine as prescribed.

Both strengths are commonly used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure and kidney disease, and taking a lower dose is not expected to cause immediate harm.
Please do not stop taking Ramipril unless advised by a healthcare professional.
