Families across Teesside are invited to join in some spooky fun to help raise funds for their local hospital.
Our Hospitals Charity at The James Cook University Hospital has teamed up with Scream Factory to host a Children’s Halloween Twilight Tour on Sunday 23 October.
Set behind the historical Kirkleatham Museum, families will be taken on a not-so-scary mystical tour, meeting special characters and collecting Halloween treats along the way.
The family-friendly event is suitable for children aged between three and ten who will also be invited to enjoy a show from special pirate guests Winkle and Storm.
All money raised from the event will go to the James Cook Cardio Appeal to help South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to develop a new leading-edge heart research unit on the Middlesbrough hospital site.
Tickets are £4 for adults, £8 for children (three years and over) or £20 for a family (two adults and two children).
Ben Murphy, head of Our Hospitals Charity said: “The events that Scream Factory put on are always great fun and we are delighted to have partnered up with them to offer this child-friendly Halloween walk.
“All money raised will go to our James Cook Cardio Appeal which aims to raise £650,000 to create a cardiothoracic research facility at The James Cook University Hospital.
“This will be a popular event so get your tickets quick.”
