Staying on a ward overnight
If you have to stay in hospital overnight you will usually stay on a ward.
When you stay on a ward for one or more nights you are called an inpatient.
Inpatients should bring
* Any medicines you are taking
* Hearing aids and glasses
* Nightwear
* Dressing gown
* Slippers
* Spare set of clean clothes
* 2 towels
* Wash bag with soap, flannel, toothbrush, toothpaste and hairbrush
* Your hospital passport (for patients with learning disabilities)
