Eye Day Unit
Please follow these simple instructions to promote a full recovery
After discharge take things easy, no heavy lifting or straining
Do not touch or rub your eye
Use eye drops as directed.
Please ensure you wash your hands before instilling dropsIf your eyelids are sticky use some cool boiled water and cotton wool to gently bathe your eye
Your eye must be protected at all times.
You must wear your sunglasses during the day and your plastic shield at night for 3 months after your operation.Do not go swimming for 6 months
Avoid smoky places
Please position as explained by the nurse or consultant.
