Eye Day Unit
Please follow these simple instructions to promote a full recovery:
Rest for the remainder of the day
Sleep with extra pillows to help with eyelid swelling following your operation
You can use cold packs or ice packs every two hours for 15 minutes
Take pain killers as necessary
Do not rub your eyes, if watering, just dab underneath the eye with a clean tissue
Remove your eye-pad after:

If you have any sutures to be removed, the nurse will give you an appointment for this. You will receive an outpatient appointment through the post.
