We assess, diagnose and treat communication and oro-pharyngeal swallowing disorders across several acute inpatient services.

Outpatient referrals
The speech and language therapy team offers a limited outpatient service at The James Cook University Hospital and Redcar Primary Care Hospital.

Videofluoroscopy referrals
We also offer a videofluoroscopy clinical jointly with the radiology team to assess swallowing problems.
