The day hospital offers district general hospital treatment, investigations, therapy and interventions for the older age group.

We also provide orthogeriatrics liaison and frailty trauma liaison services at James Cook.
Outpatient clinics including new and review patients.
Clinics are held at James Cook and Guisborough Primary Care Hospital.
Consultants working within older persons’ medicine have a fixed, regular commitment to community facilities. This includes outpatients, ward rounds, multi-specialist meetings, community day hospitals and rapid access clinics.
