Asthma and Lung UK
Asthma and Lung UK replaced the British Lung foundation logo and name in January 2020. Asthma UK and the British lung foundation official rebranded to Asthma and Lung UK in February 2022.
The charity provides a range of information for patients and carers.
These include patient passports to help people identify what care the should have received. Self-management plans help to support day to day living with a lung condition, as well as how to deal with acute attacks (acute exacerbations) when they occur.
You can be referred to pulmonary rehab providing you meet the required criteria set out by the British thoracic society, the criteria will be on the referral form that your clinician will complete.
Your GP, asthma and COPD nurse, consultants and home oxygen staff are able to refer direct to our service.
One we receive your referral it will be triaged by an appropriate clinician and processed. You will then be contacted with an appointment to be seen for a face to face assessment at our clinics.
