We are pleased to be launching our first CLEAR Late Effects Support Group for women affected by the long-term effects of pelvic radiotherapy.
The group provides a safe, welcoming and informal space where women can meet others who understand the challenges of living with late effects, share experiences and access information and support.
What can I expect?
Friendly, informal group meetings
Opportunities to share experiences and coping strategies
Information on managing late effects and improving wellbeing
Guest speakers and educational sessions on topics identified by group members
Refreshments and time for conversation
The opportunity to help shape future support and resources
The group has been developed in partnership with people with lived experience and will be shaped by feedback from those who attend.
We recognise that men can also experience significant long-term effects following pelvic radiotherapy. We hope to open a similar support group for men in the near future.
Who can attend?
The group is open to women who have experienced pelvic radiotherapy and are living with ongoing late effects of treatment.
Whether you recently completed treatment or have been living with symptoms for many years, you are welcome to join us.

- Venue: St Cuthbert’s Parish Centre, TS7 8JU
- Frequency: on the first Thursday of every month
- Time: 11am to 1pm
- Cost: Free of charge
How do I join?
