NHS 75 family fun day

To mark the 75th anniversary of the NHS, Our Hospitals Charity is organising a family fun day for you and your loved ones to celebrate the milestone.

Family fun day, celebrating 75 years of the NHS - free entry
Our Hospitals Charity, the fundraising arm of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is organising a Family Fun Day on Saturday 8 July from 12noon to 5pm – and everyone is welcome to join in!

The free-entry event is being hosted at the Dorman’s Club in Middlesbrough and includes live musical performances from local bands as well as tribute acts such as Pink and Elvis Presley.

Families can also cheer on our NHS teams as they take part in a fun sports day including tug of war, egg and spoon races and archery.

Emergency services colleagues from Cleveland Fire Brigade and Cleveland Police will also be present – giving children the opportunity to sit inside their emergency vehicles.

For a small fee children can enjoy our bouncy castles, face-painting and old-fashioned fairground games such as coconut shy and hook a duck.

There will also be a wide range of food options on offer for everyone and a chance to browse stalls and support local small businesses.

All proceeds from the event will go to Our Hospitals Charity, which raises funds for hospitals across Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Hambleton and Richmondshire.
