Hospitals that serve the communities in and around Richmond are looking for feedback about their services.
University Hospitals Tees (UHT), encompassing South Tees Hospitals and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundations Trusts, is asking members of the public to have their say on how they feel about health and care services.
Patients, families and carers are invited to Richmond Library between 10am and 1pm on Thursday 9 July 2026 to share their views on what is working well with local hospital and community health services and what needs to be improved.
Feedback can also be submitted online up until Friday 31 July by completing a short survey at www.smartsurvey.co.uk/t/Engagement-survey-Richmondshire
If you live in Richmondshire, the hospital group wants to hear your views on everything from Friarage Hospital and The Friary Community Hospital to Reeth Medical Centre and other community health services.
University Hospitals Tees recently helped secure the future of Reeth Medical Centre by signing a five-year lease agreement for the facility, enabling Central Dales Practice to step in and provide a branch surgery.
Dr James Dunbar, consultant in infectious diseases and service director for community and neighbourhood health services said: “We are deeply committed to delivering the highest quality of care for all of our rural communities.
“The partnership to maintain the Reeth Medical Centre is part of an ambitious plan to provide neighbourhood health services to the people of the Dales.”
