More than 15,000 staff from a hospital group are being invited to have their say in shaping a hospital group’s values.
University Hospitals Tees is appealing to its staff to define what values matter most to them as they continue to make a difference in the lives of their patients and the local community.
The results of the independent survey will support the organisation in forming a single set of values – helping to create the foundations of a health and care offer befitting to patients, communities and staff.
University Hospitals Tees is working to shape a joint clinical strategy, estate ambitions, digital infrastructure and beyond, it is vital to align the values of both North Tees and Hartlepool and South Tees Hospitals as one.
Group CEO Stacey Hunter said: “Our work in developing University Hospitals Tees continues, and one of our most important pieces of work so far has been officially launched: defining our group values.
“We want to ensure we can start shaping our future development work with our staff’s values at the centre. As part of that, we firstly want to understand the principles that are most important to our workforce when they come in each day to care for our patients and we’re asking them to complete a brief survey.
“It is important to ensure inclusion from the start. With that in mind, we will also be sharing this survey with our external stakeholder communities over the coming weeks.”
